Cartel Videos

A common and disturbing tactic of many Mexican Drug Cartels is the posting of graphic videos depicting executions (often beheading, but some times they just shoot their rival) of their rivals on Youtube, various shock-sites, Facebook, and a variety of other social media sites. The intentions are to demonstrate their power and intimidate their rivals. This tactic is similar to the more infamous execution videos by ISIS and other jihidist groups. For understandable purposes, many of the websites like Youtube often take down such videos. However, one notable video of a Cartel Scinario (hitman) beheading some women on Facebook got so much attention that Facebook refused to take the video down. Shock sites, like their name, are meant for the purpose of posting graphic (often of extremely deviant sexual acts like bestiality and murder videos) videos to shock people, hardly even care. Chillingly, many of the Cartel members wear military or police uniforms in the videos. This hints that many of the Cartel members are corrupt police officers or even members of military special forces. Many videos are of low content, and I have personally censored some of them due to their obvious graphic nature.

This photo depicts Jallsco New Generation Cartel members interrogating members of the rival Los Zetas cartel. The presence of rocket launchers reflect how sophisticated these cartels really are.

This is the video that got so many hits on Facebook that Facebook refused to take it down. I don't know which specific Cartel this man belongs, but I think that he might be Los Zetas.

This photo depicts Sinola gunman threatening an abducted police chief. Like all of the hostages in the photos on this post, they killed the police chief while filming it.

A. This photo depicts a Gulf Cartel enforcer holding a young boy's recently decapitated head. His fellow fighter his holding the boy's decapitated corpse. The head is still somewhat attached to the corpse by a "bloody string" (medical science and science of the Human body is not my field of expertise). More details on the motivations of the murder are on photo B

These enforcers are members of the Los Zetas cartel. The women are accused by the enforcers of being members of a rival cartel. They were beheaded by the gunmen. American news media sensationalized the video as "a message towards America"

Scianros interrogating 3 women. The women have been blurred out because they are bare breasted. The cartel that these enforcers belong to and the motivations for the abduction of the women are unknown to me.

Reliable sources are non-existent on this photo, but YouTube videos are claiming that this photo depicts a stripper being interrogated and killed by an unknown cartel. I have no information on the motivations for this women's killing, but it might be that she took drugs from them and refused to pay them back.

These enforcers appear to be interrogating 3 women. The photo is blurred because the women are completely nude. No information on this photo is known to me

B.This screenshot of a video depicting the apparent interrogation/execution of a young boy by the Gulf Cartel. His fate is depicted on photo A. Judging by the captions, the reason for his execution for this boy is that his parents appear to have worked for a rival cartel. However, the organization refereed to as "them" could also be law enforcement or some anti-cartel activist group.

These gunmen are part of the Los Zetas cartel. Their hostages are members of the rival Gulf Cartel. They were killed in the video. The gunmen are remarkably well equipped with Kevlar vests, ballistic helmets, and even one guy with a rocket launcher.

This photo shows Sinola members getting beheaded with a chainsaw by unknown rivals.

This photo is unique on how comparably poorly equipped these gunmen are compared to the other other gunman in the other photos. Maybe they are part of a weaker cartel. Identity of the victim and his captors are unknown to me.

This photo depicts Gente Nueva, the armed wing of the Sinola Cartel interrogating the brother of an attorney. The reasons for his abduction and murder is his alleged ties to the rival cartel La Linea.

This photo shows the niece of some mayor being threatened by unknown gunman. Unlike many of the victims depicted on photos of this post, she survives her ordeal.
