Flames of War

The Islamic State several months ago has released a chillingly well made documentary called the "Flames of War". The "Flames of War" is very similar to a documentary made by the History Channel. The narration script is very well worded (in perfect English),  with incredible CGI and slow motion special effects. The effects are almost as well-done as a Hollywood movie. "Flames of War" depicts the Islamic State as unstoppable "warriors of Allah" (a phrase used multiple times in the documentary) protecting the people of god from the Infidels (of course they were describing the US, but the Infidels also include Kurdish militias, the Assad government, rival jihadist groups, and other enemies of the Islamic State). The film covers battles with their various enemies, with obliviously the Islamic State fighters triumphing over them.  Infact at the end of the film, captured Syrian Troops describes the takeover of his unit's base as "the FSA couldn't do it [capture the base], but the Islamic State managed to do it with just 50 men". The ending of the film concludes with the captured solider waring Syrians to leave Assad's army just before he is shot on the camera. The ending credits state a threat to the US and its allies to leave the Islamic State alone, or suffer a serious defeat.  This film shows that the Islamic State has various connections in the West with English speaking operatives, and that the Islamic State is extremely sophisticated. This film would be remembered as one of the greatest propaganda pieces in history along with the Nazi Germany's "Triumph of the Will".
